An Atmospheric Secret Wander on Steroids!

An Atmospheric Secret Wander on Steroids!

Last year I started a series of Secret Wanders with Camera and the debut event was an absolute smasher!

For our first Secret Wander we headed over to the North East coast to the hidden gem that is Low Newton, Northumberland. I actually discovered this wonderful and unique spot when I arrived particularly early for a commercial shoot happening close by and it was love at first sight!

A car free village with views  of Dunstanburgh Castle, a tucked away nature reserve, a tin church(!) and a hidden community of multi-million pound beach huts make this location a truly unique and highly photogenic spot to explore.

On the day strong winds stormy clouds and beams of light made for an even more atmospheric experience. It wasn't just stunning views and epic waves we treated to though. The mix of wildlife was outstanding. Eider ducks in winter plumage, sanderling, ringed plover, curlew, redshank, turnstone pink footed and barnacle geese, merganser and more!

A truly brilliant debut for Secret Wanders with a Camera, dare we repeat this event again? Yes! We are next week, and you're reading this and would like to join us visit this hidden page and book now to explore this stunning location with like-minded folk.
