Moor, Bluebells and Milkshake

Leading a Bluebell Woods photo walk and Ilkley Moor photo walk in one day might sound a little ambitious to some, but that’s just how Walking Photographer likes to roll!

It was another day where the photo walkers attending were rewarded for ignoring the weather reports. Despite a forecast of heavy, continuous rain we were greeted with gorgeous, warm sunshine!

Bluebell Woods Photo Walk

Starting by Ilkley Lido we made our way into Middleton woods where we set about exploring. As we progressed we looked at different ways to capture these spectacular scenes at their best. The group were fantastic and enthusiastically embraced the challenge of getting the best from these magical surroundings.

Ilkley Moor Photo Walk

I had just enough time to pop into Moo and grab a ferrero rocher milkshake before heading up to Cow and Calf to meet the next group of keen Photo Walkers. Clouds were starting to gather but the light was great, and the clouds helped to illustrated the difference light can make to a landscape. The conditions were perfect for some landscape photography and learning how to get more from our cameras on the moor!
