Moston Brook Festival of Aging Photo Walk

Moston Brook Festival of Aging Photo Walk

I always love visiting the Moston, Failsworth and New Moston community in Manchester and Oldham. This is my fourth photo walk here and every time I leave feeling inspired!

Today I'm leading two photo walks as part of the Festival of Ageing. Despite the first rain in weeks as soon as we head off the rain starts to disappear and we get absorbed in our viewfinders!

My first photo walk series here was for the opening of a new all weather footpath made out of recycled tyre rubber. There's a very industrial and urban feel about Moston Brook. It's an exciting backdrop to view wildlife. The undoubted stars of the show were the yellow and back Cinnabar caterpillars.

The meet and finish point of the walks were at the Little Lavender Community Hub . It turned out to be an inspired choice as we were greeted with a  refreshing brew and a stunning slice of cake. What more could you ask for!
