Photo Walk at Brimham Rocks
Just before Easter we visited the spectacular Brimham Rocks for a chilly but very inspiring Walking Photographer Social. Brimham Rocks is a unique location with exciting scenes in every direction. It’s so perfect for photography because there’s something for everyone, stunning views, incredible rock formations, an abundance of wildlife as well a great place to just sit and people watch.
Despite the grey cloud, there were some fantastic photo opportunities and plenty of action, including, curlews flying overhead, a busy stonechat and some impressive climbers!
One of the participants brought a friend who stayed behind to paint and sketch the rocks. Impressed with her determination to sketch through the cold wind, I took a couple of photos just before I left.
It was a fantastic way to start the weekend, the next social is a walk along a stunning stretch of the river Wharfe at Addingham in May when it really bursts into life. For more details and booking please visit the Photo Walk Social page.
