Photo Walk for Brownies
Anyone working in the creative industry accepts that every now and then, you’ll end up working for commodities other than money. Skill swaps are common practice, as is the exchange of art works. Now, anyone who’s known me for longer than five minutes will note that I’ll walk a long mile for cake. So when the Brownies of Burley in Wharfedale proposed a Walking Photographer photowalk in exchange for a tub of home-made chocolate brownies, it was very clear they’d done their homework! I had a great time sharing my photography tips with Burley’s Brownies who were all brilliant and really enthusiastic… particularly on the topic of “selfies”! It’s not too often I hear young people getting praised, something these girls were really polite and keen to learn. Best of all though my box of chocolate Brownies (which I shared with Mrs Walking Photographer) were delicious !
Thanks to Brown Owl for the great pics from the walk!
