Want to get more from your camera?
There are a number of ways a tailored private lesson can help you get more from your camera. Lessons are always practical, inspiring and fun and are delivered at a pace that suits you.
Taster sessions (£45) - If you're not sure where you're at, or just want to get a taste for what you could benefit from a lesson, try a taster that can be at either Walking Photography studio or outdoors within a 30-minute drive of Ilkley.
Half or Full Day Lessons (£135/£250)- The best way to learn and gain the skills you want is on a practical half or full-day lesson. The lessons are flat-rate, so why not bring a friend to share the experience (and cost) with.
Camera Settings 101 (£90) - For people who have a basic or easonable grasp of camera modes but want to delve deeper into all the different settings available on their camera. A two-hour session based at the studio as we walk through the camera's menu systems and settings over a cuppa and a biscuit or two!

Or maybe you're confident in your camera knowledge and need some gentle guidance towards taking the kind of photos you aspire to?
All photography lessons here are tailored around you and delivered in a practical, easy to follow and inspiring environment. Helping ensure that you learn and retain what's relevant to you and your photography.
A Relaxed Pace from an Experienced Professional
I've learnt photography from the ground up. As a photography degree student I honed my craft on film cameras, using wet-based processing and printing techniques in black and white and colour.
As a professional with over ten years industry experience, I've been at the sharp end of the fast-paced advancements in digital cameras and photography.
I have a genuine and heartfelt love of sharing my knowledge and experience with people and always leave each lesson feeling as inspired as the student! I always make my lessons as practical and enjoyable as possible, because it's the best way to learn!
“I had such a wonderful day with Rich after receiving a full day’s lesson as a gift from my daughter. He was so helpful on our walk and later with Lightroom. I learned a lot and plan to attend some of his future events.” - Google Reviews 5*
