A Gift for Every Type of Photographer

We all absorb information differently. Here’s why Walking Photography gift certificates work for everyone. The gift is an experience. They get to see the what’s on offer, browse the galleries from different workshops, and picture themselves on a photo walk, tour or lesson, finding the perfect shot. This is the ultimate gift for someone who learns by doing. You're not giving them an object; you're giving them the action of getting out, camera in hand, and actively practicing the craft of photography. Best of all Walking Photography vouchers never expire, so when life gets in the way, they can always return at a later without the stress of booking before a certain date.

  • E-Gift Cards emailed straight to your or your chosen recipients email address

  • All Gift Vouchers offer No Expiry!

How It Works (Spoiler: It's Easy)

Our e-gift certificates to be as simple and flexible as possible. Here’s the entire process, from purchase to photo walk.

Here's the step-by-step action plan

  1. 💳 Choose & Pay Pick your gift amount and check out just like any other purchase. You can buy one for the full price of a workshop or just a specific amount to discount any event.

  2. 📧 Receive & Give You'll immediately get an email with the e-gift certificate and a unique code. This is what you give to your recipient. You can forward the email directly or print it out to pop inside a real card (a nice touch). You also have the option to send the gift card directly (and immediately) to the recipient.

  3. 🎟️ Browse & Book Your recipient browses the site and finds the perfect group walk, workshop, or private lesson they've been wanting to take.

  4. 🎉 Redeem & Enjoy During checkout, they simply enter their unique code in the "Gift Certificate / Promo Code" box. The balance is applied instantly, and they're all set for their photography adventure.

    • A: No. If the booking costs less than the certificate's value, the remaining balance is saved on the same code for next time.

  • Q: When does it expire?

    • A: NEVER. That's the best part. No deadlines. No pressure. We believe gifts shouldn't come with a ticking clock.

Meet Your Guide…

All events & lessons are thoughtfully delivered by myself, Rich Bunce aka Walking Photographer. I’ve been a professional photographer for over 15 years, and have been sharing my photography skills and tips for a similar amount of time. With over 3000 signups since founding Walking Photography - I’ve learnt to adjust my approach according to the individuals I meet, helping them feel more confident with their camera and creativity.

  • After GCSEs I headed straight to art college where I studied for a National Diploma, Higher National Diploma & a BA (hons) in Photography & Digital Imaging

  • I have been a freelance photographer for over 15 years working in a variety of genres and disciplines from weddings, corporate events and author portraits to magazine editorial features and archive photography for museums. In recent years I have been working more and more with UK conservation charities, businesses and organisations.

  • I have been lucky enough to feature in exhibitions and publications for a diverse range of photography and arts competitions. More recently I have had highly commended awards in the International Garden Photographer of the Year, British Wildlife Photographer of the Year (including the a catergory winning image in 2020), Royal Photographic Society International Print Awards (including a print in the permanent collection) and have made the long list in the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize.

  • I have been fascinated and obsessed with photography since receiving a 110 film camera bought for me by my Mum in the Avon catalogue. Since then I’m enjoyed exploring a wide range of photography subjects, but maybe the unifying theme for me is the idea of recording a slice of time in a single frame.
