Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Walking Photography, we strive to provide exceptional photography experiences. However, we understand that life happens and plans can change. This policy outlines your rights regarding cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling for our workshops, tours, lessons, and gift vouchers.
1. Overview Because we offer services (time-specific bookings) and digital goods (vouchers), we do not accept "returns" in the traditional sense of physical products. Instead, this policy governs cancellations and refunds.
2. Photography Workshops, Tours & Private Lessons
We aim to be as flexible as possible. If you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, please contact us at info@walkingphotographer.co.uk as soon as possible.
Statutory "Cooling-Off" Period: In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you book a service online, you have a legal right to change your mind and cancel within 14 days of making the booking to receive a full refund, provided the service (the workshop or lesson) has not already taken place.
Cancellations made 7 days (or more) before the event: If you cancel your booking outside of the statutory cooling-off period, but more than 7 days before the scheduled date, we are happy to offer:
A full refund to your original payment method.
A free reschedule to a future date.
A credit voucher for the full amount.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event: Due to the preparation required and the difficulty of filling spots at short notice, cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled event are non-refundable.
However: We review these situations on a case-by-case basis. If your cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., emergency or illness), please contact us. At our sole discretion, we may offer to reschedule your booking or provide a gift voucher for future use.
3. Cancellations by Walking Photography
In the unlikely event that we must cancel a workshop or tour due to severe weather, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances:
You will be notified immediately.
You will be offered a choice of a full refund, a reschedule to a new date, or a voucher.
Note: We are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs incurred by you in the event of a cancellation.
4. Digital Gift Vouchers
Refunds: Gift vouchers are non-refundable once purchased and delivered electronically, except where required by law.
Validity: Photography Lesson Gift vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. E-gift Voucher (where you select the amount), have no expiry requirements.
Transferability: Vo
uchers can be transferred to another person but cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Processing Refunds If a refund is approved:
It will be processed immediately.
The credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank’s processing times.
