Unlock Your Creative Vision: Learning Skills for a Lifetime of Incredible Photos

“The street and travel photography walk with Rich was a relaxed combination of technical information mixed with advice of how to capture better compositions. A mindful experience. Excellent.”

Imagine returning from your next trip not just with pictures, but with powerful, compelling stories. Photos that capture the magic of the everyday and the true spirit of a place.

That is exactly what we teach. This is about more than just one day in Yorkshire; it's about building a new way of seeing.

In our small, friendly, and supportive groups, you'll gain the technical skills and creative confidence to transform your photography forever. We're here to help you move beyond simple snapshots to create visually striking images, whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro looking for a fresh perspective.

Our mission is simple: to give you the tools to master street and travel photography, skills you'll use on every future adventure, long after the workshop is over.

We blend practice and theory to suit every learning style:

  • You'll be learning by doing. This is an active, practical experience where you'll have your camera in hand, trying new techniques from the very first minute.

  • Because the groups are small, you get real-time, personal feedback. We'll discuss the 'why' behind a great shot, talk through creative choices, and share ideas.

  • We don't just talk—we show. You'll see live demonstrations of how to find unique compositions, how to spot compelling narratives, and how light transforms a scene.

  • Demystify the technical side. You'll get clear, understandable breakdowns of camera settings, composition rules (and when to break them!), and practical strategies you can note down and keep.

Exploring stunning towns and cities as our classroom. You'll get to practice your new skills capturing the dynamic streets of Leeds, the history of York, or the incredible atmosphere of unique events like the Whitby Goth Festival and the Haworth 1940s Weekend.
