Cold December Days - Highlights with Walking Photography

December, as well as being a busy month for the Walking Photography website, particularly with gift vouchers, it also (thankfully) offered plenty of opportunities to get outdoors! 

On the subject of Outdoors I was thrilled to see my Spotlight interview in Outdoor Photography Magazine make it to print just before Christmas. Before that though the month kicked off with an inspiring Night Photo Walk around York. York is a magical city at any time but on a Christmas evening, it really is an extraordinary place to explore with a camera. 

It was also a popular month for private tours and lessons. To some, December may seem a strange time to book a lesson but it is a fantastic time of year to get out and take photographs! As Winter Solstice approaches the sun hangs lower in our skies offering a quality of light unlike any other time of the year. And as an added bonus we even got to enjoy some snow!
