The route takes in all the epic sites you'd expect from this iconic area of the Yorkshire Dales. Janet's Foss, Gordale Scar and Malham Cove are not only shrouded in legend and myth, they are also greatly celebrated with many film and television appearances including Harry Potter, Steve Coogan's The Trip and ITV's Victoria.

Malham is all about the spectacular. The stunning surroundings are inhabited by equally stunning wildlife. From the dippers foraging in the clear waters of the beck to the peregrine falcons' impressive aerial displays, there are many inspiring natural encounters to be enjoyed around Malham. Star species encountered so far include barn owl, dipper, redstart, fox, peregrine, green woodpecker, weasel and reed bunting.
