Learn how to sensitively and responsibly capture creatively striking photos of exciting wildlife. A practical mix of fieldcraft, technical and creative approaches designed to help you achieve better results not only on the day but in the future too.

A very small group of people (5 max) ensures personalised and attentive tuition.

The timing of the workshop is primed for when Malham's wildlife is at its most active. Redstarts, flycatchers (spotted & pied), green woodpecker and wheatear (to name just a few!) will be busy raising their young. There is also a good chance of a special Peregrine encounter as their chicks typically have either recently or be very close to fledging.

As if that wasn't enough swifts, swallows, house martins, dippers, kingfisher and curlew are all very active in the area and there's always a chance of a barn owl or little owl making an appearance. Orchids, specialist wildflowers help nourish a rich abundance of insect life and butterflies too. Put simply, it's a wildlife extravaganza full of great photo opportunites!
