See London in a New Light on an Inspiring Photo Walk

Want capture London at its best with your camera? Join professional and award-winning photographer Rich Bunce and learn more on a practical, inspiring photo walk workshop.

Before moving to Yorkshire, Rich grew up, learnt and began his photographic career around London. He's now tremendously excited to be returning for a week of new London-based photo walk activities. Each event offers:

- A practical & inspiring opportunity to learn more about taking better photos
- Carefully crafted lessons from experienced, award-winning photographer
- A planned walk packed with top tips and advice for both individuals and group
- Free fully illustrated PDF of the workshop emailed after the walk

Street & Travel Photography along the South Bank

Learn how to "capture the moment" and see the photos everyone else misses on this inspirational photo walk. Southbank is the perfect place to hone your street photography skills. Rich has been taking street photos around London since he was 13. Some of his street photography has been nominated for awards, toured on international exhibitions and is held in both public and private collections. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn more and craft your street and travel photography.

Seeing the Light at Richmond Park

This is arguably London's most inspiring park which is full of scenery and a plethora of subject-matter. The photo walk explores this magical environment at the most stunning time of day. By coinciding with 'Golden Hour' you'll not only be learning practical tips on improving your photography but you'll also learn how to read, interpret and manipulate the light.

Introduction to Wildlife Photography at Bushy Park

Rich has been photographing wildlife at Bushy park since he got his first camera. It's a special place, close to the photographer's heart. Bushy Park offers a unique opportunity to experience and photograph a diverse range of wildlife. A deer park dating back the Tudor era, this landscape is particularly good for getting closer encounters with wildlife.

As a previously commended and exhibited photographer in the British Wildlife Photography Awards and International Garden Photographer of the Year Awards Rich  will be sharing lots of tips and advice on getting better photographs of wildlife.

Bat & Nature Walk at Bushy Park

Join Rich Bunce on an evening's adventure as we search Bushy Park for the exciting creatures of the night. Armed with a professional bat detector (as fetaured on Autumn Watch), we'll be able to identify the different species of bat in their different habitats. There'll also be an opportunity to encounter several species of deer, fox and owl as they start their night shift.

Private Lessons

As part of London Photo Walk Week I'll be offering private lessons around London. The lessons are tailored to cover the student's own preferences and delivered in a practical, inspiring and fun way. The price for private photography lessons is flat rate which means you can bring a friend (or two) for free.

Can I bring children?

From an early age, photography has played such a key role in my life. As part of my desire to champion photography to young people I offer free places for under 16s when accompanied by a paying adult

What if the weather forecast is bad?

You may be surprised just how many bad forecasts result in beautiful days - it happens a lot!

Walking Photography will always try and proceed with a planned photo walk. If extreme weather conditions or severe accessibility issues arise, then the walk date will rearranged for a convenient date.

What if the weather is bad?

It is surprisingly rare to have an event that is completely marred by the weather. With a deep to commitment to offering fun and enjoyable photo walks and workshops, if the event is judged to have been ruined by the weather participants will be given a 50% discount voucher off a future Photo Walk workshop up to the same value.

Can I bring my camera phone or tablet?

Yes! We welcome camera phone and tablet walkers on most photo walks. There are some events like Get a Grip Course and the Night Photo Walks where you require manual functions on your camera. Such events are clearly noted in the descriptions.

What is the accessibility like?

Accessibility varies widely from event to event. Please get in touch with any accessibility questions.

Walking Photography also offers Private Leisure Tours at a fixed rate that can be tailored to address any accessibility needs.
