Improve Your Photography in one of England's Finest Landscapes

This spectacular photo walk offers something for everyone. With breathtaking views, vibrant nature and inspirational guidance, this walk will stay with you and leave a lasting impression.

Exploring Malham

From bubbling brooks to 100 metre high waterfalls, luscious flower meadows to 12,000-year-old limestone pavements. The route takes in all the epic sites you'd expect from this iconic area of the Yorkshire Dales. Janet's Foss, Gordale Scar and Malham Cove are not only shrouded in legend and myth, they are also greatly celebrated with many film and television appearances including Harry Potter, Steve Coogan's The Trip and ITV's Victoria.

Take Better Photos With Any Camera

This practical workshop explores practical ways to improve your photography and is led by professional award-winning photographer Rich Bunce. So whether you have a mobile phone or a big DSLR you'll be walking away with some new ideas and inspiration for taking better photos.

Rich has been a professional photographer for over ten years. His photography has been exhibited internationally and he's been credited in a number of awards including a highly commended in International Garden Photographer of the Year, British Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Royal Photographic Society International Print Awards.

Wildlife Photography Masterclass

Learn to master wildlife photography in one of the most stunning locations with a rich and diverse range of wildlife.

Under the guidance of award winning photographer (British Wildlife Photography Awards category winner), Rich will share his best tips for getting the best from a habitat he's explored for nearly 10 years.

Learn how to sensitively and responsibly capture creatively striking photos of exciting wildlife. A practical mix of fieldcraft, technical and creative approaches design to help you achieve better results not only on the day but in the future too.

A small group of people ensures personalised and attentive tuition.

The timing of the workshop is primed for when Malham's wildlife is at its most active. Redstarts, flycatchers, green woodpecker and wheatear (to name just a few) will be busy raising their young. There is also a good chance of a special Peregrine encounter as their chicks will have either recently or be very close to fledging.

As if that wasn't enough swifts, swallows, house martins, dippers and curlew are all very active in the area and there's always a chance of a barn owl or little owl making an appearance. Orchids, specialist wildflowers help nourish a rich abundance of insect life and butterflies too. Put simply, it's a wildlife extravaganza that will live long in the memory.

NEW - Live Photo Edit @ The Studio

You probably already have your own favoured editing techniques. This new workshop shares my own favourite editing processes. Developed over many years to save time, keep better organised, while getting the very best from my photos. Join me as I share my best secrets.

Bring your photos from the session to the Walking Photography studio (Burley in Wharfedale) as I share my processes, techniques and workflows in both Lightroom and Photoshop. Numbers limited to a maximum of 5.

You may wish to bring a laptop with Lightroom Classic and Photoshop installed - If you're not using Lightroom yet it could be a great opportunity to download a free trial and discover its potential. Alternatively, just come along and take notes as I give a live workflow demo.

Can I bring children?

From an early age, photography has played such a key role in my life. As part of my desire to champion photography to young people I offer free places for under 16s when accompanied by a paying adult

What if the weather forecast is bad?

Walking Photography will always try and proceed with a planned photo walk. If extreme weather conditions or severe accessibility issues arise, then the walk date will rearranged for a convenient date.

What if the weather is bad?

It is surprisingly rare to have an event that is completely marred by the weather. With a deep to commitment to offering fun and enjoyable photo walks and workshops, if the event is judged to have been ruined by the weather participants will be given a 50% discount voucher off a future Photo Walk workshop up to the same value.
