Lightroom (Classic) & Photoshop: A Practical & Comprehensive Introduction
From landscapes to journalism, the secret to great photography has always been in the edit. Learning how to edit properly not only brings that final bit of quality to your photos but it also helps inform your practical photography out in the field too!
Suitable for absolute beginners as well as those already familiar with editing who want to take it to the next level. This practical, extended workshop shares a comprehensive insight into the whole editing process, give you the confidence to shoot and edit photos you can take pride in.
Sharing tips that have been developed and honed for over a fifteen years of professional photography, Rich shares everything you could need to master Lightroom, Photoshop and the editing process.
You'll finish the day feeling more confident at getting the best out of your photos going forward.
As part of a small group (4 max) and using carefully selected photos that help demonstrate all the key settings and tools. Itinerary themes include:

Macro Photography for Beginners Workshop
Start creating simple, stunning close-up photos with "wow" factor. From human-made textures to plants and wildlife, when you start to look closer you can get lost in a world of imagination.
Macro photography isn't just creatively stunning, it's extremely fun too. Drawing inspiration from the his successful RHS workshop, Rich gives a practical and gentle introduction to the power of close-up photography, adapting it to a smaller group (5 max) and using his studio, local nature reserves and inspiring gardens as our canvas.

Can I bring children?
From an early age, photography has played such a key role in my life. As part of my desire to champion photography to young people I offer free places for under 16s when accompanied by a paying adult.
What if the weather forecast is bad?
You may be surprised just how many bad forecasts result in beautiful days - it happens a lot!
Walking Photography will always try and proceed with a planned photo walk. If extreme weather conditions or severe accessibility issues arise, then the walk date will rearranged for a convenient date.
What if the weather is bad?
It is surprisingly rare to have an event that is completely marred by the weather. With a deep to commitment to offering fun and enjoyable photo walks and workshops, if the event is judged to have been ruined by the weather participants will be given a 50% discount voucher off a future Photo Walk workshop up to the same value.
Can I bring my camera phone or tablet?
Yes! We welcome camera phone and tablet walkers on most photo walks. There are some events like Get a Grip Course and the Night Photo Walks where you require manual functions on your camera. Such events are clearly noted in the descriptions.
